Mr. Schiff: Hi. This is Wanted by the FBI, from the FBI. A man named Tobechi Enyinna Onwuhara of Nigeria is using the Internet to steal millions of dollars.

Mr. Nail: “Approximately 60 million dollars in financial loss.”

Mr. Schiff: Special Agent Mike Nail of the FBI’s Washington, D.C., office. He says Onwuhara steals personal information from unknowing citizens and then impersonates the victims.

Mr. Nail: “By impersonating these victims, they were able to successfully wire transfer millions of dollars out of these victims’ home equity line-of-credit accounts.”

Mr. Schiff: Nail says the group used fee-based websites to get personal information.

Mr. Nail: “Name, the address, the date of birth, social security numbers, and mothers’ maiden names.”

Mr. Schiff: Tobechi Onwuhara wears a lot of jewelry, hangs out in expensive clubs, flashes money around, and likes to gamble. His wanted flyer is at That’s Wanted by the FBI for this week. I’m Neal Schiff of the Bureau’s Office of Public Affairs.
