Mr. Schiff: We all want our children to be safe. The FBI and the American Football Coaches Association are partnered in the National Child Identification Program...
Mr. Holley: "That consists of a child ID kit where parents can take their children’s fingerprints and take a DNA sample.”

Mr. Schiff: Bill Holley, Community Outreach coordinator at the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division in West Virginia...
Mr. Holley: "And maintain it in case their child is involved in foul play, a disaster or a runaway situation.”

Mr. Schiff: No records are kept by the FBI. The fingerprint cards and DNA records are for parents. Holley says these child ID kits have been around for several years...

Mr. Holley: "The 56 FBI field offices throughout the country team up with their area college coach and team and they set a date, usually one game a year.”

Mr. Schiff: Nearly a million of these kits have been distributed. Call the nearest FBI office for more information. I’m Neal Schiff of the Bureau and that’s what’s happening at the “FBI, This Week.”
