Unknown Suspect(s) Sought for the 2005 Murder of United States Citizen Hubert Daniel Thompson in Georgetown, Guyana

The FBI is working with the Guyana Police Force to investigate the murder of United States citizen Hubert Daniel Thompson. Law enforcement authorities are seeking the public's assistance in locating the unidentified suspect(s) believed to be responsible for Thompson's death. On December 9, 2005, Thompson, a resident of Staunton, Virginia, was murdered in his hotel room in Georgetown, Guyana.

The FBI is offering a reward up to $10,000 in United States dollars (2 million Guyana dollars), for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Hubert Daniel Thompson in Georgetown, Guyana. Anyone with information as to the identification or whereabouts of the unknown suspect(s) is urged to contact the U.S. Embassy at 011-592-225-1566.
