Arabic writing and the date and time are also displayed on this and subsequent screens. (c) Planning, which shows a person’s hand holding a serrated-edged knife. The bottom row of frames from left to right [labeled (d), (e), and (f)] show (d) the farewell, as the suicide bomber hugs a comrade; (e) execution, showing an explosion occurring in the distance; and (f) aftermath, showing the partially destroyed mess tent of the U.S. base in Mosul targeted by the suicide bomber. The date and time of the video are also displayed in each frame, in the bottom, right-hand corner. This video was created on 12/20/2004, with the suicide bombing occurring on 12/21/2004 at lunchtime.
