Digital CCTV Flip Book

The Forensic Audio, Video and Image Analysis Unit (FAVIAU), of the FBI’s Operational Technology Division, and the U.S. Government’s Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) announce the release of their new flip book, Best Practices for the Retrieval of Video Evidence from Digital Closed Circuit Television (DCCTV) Systems.

Law enforcement subject-matter experts from international, federal, state, and local agencies contributed to the book, which addresses the best practices and methods for retrieving video data recorded on DCCTV systems. Topics include native/proprietary file format, retrieval methods, media, legal concerns, and more.
