DESCRIPTION
CAUTIONJorge Aguilera-Enchautegui is wanted for his alleged involvement in the carjacking and murder of Leonardo Gamallo Sotolongo, a professor at the Inter-American University in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. In the spring of 2007, Aguilera-Enchautegui maintained the lawn at the victim’s residence. During the afternoon of June 13, 2007, the victim left his residence in Aguadilla travelling in his personal vehicle, and reportedly went to a bank to cash a check to pay Aguilera-Enchautegui for yard work. It is alleged that after cashing the check, the victim met Aguilera-Enchautegui at an unknown location in Isabela, Puerto Rico. On June 15, 2007, the victim was reported missing. Within two weeks later, the victim's car was found burned out in a desolate forested area in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. The victim's body was recovered near a garbage collection area in Isabela. The body was in an accelerated stage of decomposition. However, it was determined that the victim's T-shirt had holes consistent with him having been stabbed. He also had suffered blunt trauma to his head. On February 4, 2008, a federal warrant was issued by the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico for the arrest of Jorge Aguilera-Enchautegui, after he was charged with carjacking/murder. REWARDThe FBI is offering a reward of $20,000 for information directly leading to the arrest of Jorge Aguilera-Enchautegui.
