In 2009, individuals under the age of 25 accounted for 43.6 percent of all arrestees.
Individuals under the age of 25 comprised 44.7 percent of all arrests for violent crime, 48.9 percent of all arrests for murder, and 65.2 percent of arrests for robbery.
Persons under the age of 25 accounted for 55.8 percent of all arrests for property crime, 60.3 percent of arrests for burglary, and 64.3 percent of arrests for arson.
In 2009, 26.1 percent of all persons arrested for arson were under the age of 15, and 55.4 were under the age of 21 years.
Arrests of persons under the age of 25 comprised 46.8 percent of all arrests made for drug abuse violations.
