Mr. Bush: "That is the future. That is Next Generation Identification.”

Mr. Schiff: That’s Tom Bush, Assistant Director of the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division...

Mr. Bush: "We want to be able to do all these other types of searches with all these other types of biometrics.”

Mr. Schiff: Bush says bigger, faster, better are the goals...

Mr. Bush: "We’ll do studies on things like iris recognition; voice; facial recognition; could be earlobe configuration.”

Mr. Schiff: Today the FBI’s fingerprint computer searches about 150,000 prints a day...

Mr. Bush: "We envision searches in the two-hundred, three-hundred thousand a day. There’s also talk about sharing information internationally with some of our partners in fighting crime and the war on terror.”

Mr. Schiff: There more on the Internet at fbi.gov. I’m Neal Schiff of the Bureau and that’s what’s happening at the “FBI, This Week.”
