During those assignments, Mr. Raucci gained experience in Indian Country violations, Violent Crimes, Counterintelligence and Drug matters.

In July 2000, he was assigned to the Chicago Division as a Field Supervisor over an Organized Crime Squad, followed by his promotion to Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC), where he managed Chicago Division's five Counterterrorism Squads, O'Hare and Midway Airports and a Resident Agency. In June 2003, he assumed responsibilities as Chicago Division's Administrative ASAC.
