2008 Director’s Community Leadership Awards

Headquarters
Outdoor Advertising Association of Georgia
2008 Director’s Community Leadership Awards

Founded in 1991, the OAAG is dedicated to promoting, protecting, and advancing outdoor advertising interests in Georgia. With nearly 200 member companies, the OAAG represents more than 20 percent of industry revenues. A board composed of 15 people meets quarterly to set the goals of the association.

The OAAG represens the outdoor advertsing industry to government, promoting the entire industry. The Association works to ensure that the state of Georgia receives from the association’s members a commitment to public service.

The member companies have initiated partnerships with state and federal agencies to offer digital billboards to provide real time, lifesaving information to the traveling public. These initiatives include the AMBER Alert System, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency.
